The men around fronter Dave Wyndorf have created an astonishingly strong album with “Last Patrol”. The reasons for this may lie on the one hand in the much earthier sound, and on the other hand in the pleasantly psychedelic songwriting, which again and again brings back memories of the classics mentioned above. In any case, “Last Patrol” is more than just a small step in the right direction.
