This is one of my favorite 80s UK Punk bands. Melodic yet unpolished at the same time, The Sect on one hand reminds of the fabulous Newtown Neurotics while on the other hand paved the way for bands that would follow them shortly, like Mega City 4, Red Letter Day, Snuff, etc. Excellent drumming, raging guitars, a bit nasal vocals, really good songwriting and awesome lyrics. This is probably one of the most underrated bands ever. Do yourself a favour and get this one as well as everything by The Sect you can get your hands on. near mint/near mint
