The 45 ADAPTERS have long since developed their own trademark: “Rhythm’ N’ Oi!”. Anyone who knows the band from New York knows what to expect, or rather, they expect a lot (and one thing in advance: they will not be disappointed!). However, for anyone only now hearing about the band for the first time should know that they can expect a rousing mix of R’N’B, Oi!, Mod Rock and a dash of soul, which hardly any other band on the planet currently celebrates even remotely as much as Master Pickabar and his gang. As on the previous releases of the 45 ADAPTERS, the aforementioned frontman gives the songs a palpably positive mood, while the rhythm section blows an irresistible attack on the dancing feet. Each song is a catchy tune in its own right, the title track or super anthem “Vinyl Fetishists” is particularly noteworthy. Definitely in the top 5 records we have ever released on Contra Records.
