Description

Erase Today started up in Blackpool, England in November 1991 and split after opening the inaugural “Holidays in The Sun” gig in Blackpool in August 1996. The actual name of the band came from a track by a band called Husker Du which was featured on a compilation album called The Blasting Concept. Erase Today released Age of Unreason (91) Economic Prison (92) Velocity to Connect (94) A Big Yes and A Little No (95) London New York the World (96) Colour Sound and Vibration (97) on their own Just Say No To Government Music (JSNTGM) label. Erase Today only played towns and cities around the North of the UK and played with bands such as Green Day, Nation of Ulysees, Econochrist, NO FX, Offspring, Leatherface, Guns n Wankers, Blaggers etc.

They were the little cousins of the scene spawned by Mega City 4, Senseless Things, Snuff, Leatherface, Perfect Daze and other melodic Punk/HC bands in the UK from late 80s
