This is one of the classic compilations of Italian DIY Punk/HC. In 1984, the Italian label Attack Punk Records started putting records out under another moniker: Toto´ Alle Prese Coi Dischi. This was the first compilation under this new moniker. And what a killer compilation it is: Raw Power, Rappresaglia, Rivolta Dell´Odio and Pedago Party.
Raw Power probably need no intruduction. One of the oldest HC bands from Italy. Rappresaglia were a Punk Rock band often exploring the HC territory. Rivolta Dell´Odio were a Post-Punk band, very unique and idiosyncratic. Pedago Party were a Punk/New Wave combo with female vocals and excellent lyrics. All in all, a phenomenal comp. VG(+)/VG+
