Stockkampf is Punk Rock sang in German, with a proper double load of saxophone and trumpet, which, accompanied by danceable music, bangs the always critical lyrics into your brain. It is primarily about social and political grievances such as the shift to the right, discrimination, deportations, capitalism and the rest of the heap of crap that surrounds you every day. In addition to having fun with the music, the band is primarily concerned with acting as an active anti-fascist mouthpiece and, at least on a small scale, with providing an impetus for a radical rethinking. The 6-piece band formed in 2011 and, after a few line-up changes, have been in the same formation since 2016. After the demo “Erdgeschoss” and the LP “Europa brennt” the new album “Dystalität” follows after a year of work, on which hard, straight-forward German punk and melodic ska rhythms alternate. Lyrically, in addition to current political issues, social standards are also critically examined and historical incidents are dealt with. Sealed.
