Before I even start telling you what a great release this is, I should tell you about Niet. It was one of the greatest Slovenian (back then Yugoslav) punk bands. They formed in 1983 and during the 80s they only managed to release one cassette (truthfully reproduced on this album that also adds 3 more songs from that period) back in 1984. They lasted until 1988 and then broke up. In 1991 their singer died, but the band reformed in 1993.
The material on this album all dates back to 1984 (Srecna Mladina cassette) and 1985 (the three extra tracks recorded shortly afterwards). Male/female vocals, melodic yet desperate music that depicts so well what was going on behind the iron curtain. This release is a must in every sense.
The LP comes in a gatefold cover, printed inner sleeve and a 24 page booklet. Plus, you get the CD with the whole album AND extra tracks! Must have! Limited to 160 copies!
