Nervosas- S/T LP. Dark, anxious, paranoid, manic, obsessive, melodic, misanthropic, gothy punk from the midwest. Now this is something I can get into. Like if Wipers, X, and Dead Moon were somehow one band, but faster and angrier. But forget comparisons, Nervosas is their own animal. Far too often, self-described “post-punk” bands are just dull indie rock with post-modern pretensions, but luckily Columbus, OH’s Nervosas is the real deal. And this OH band really draw from the kind of post-punk I can really get into (Wire, Wipers, Mission of Burma etc.) and add their proverbial unique touch. HIGHLY RECCOMENDED!
